WHAT IS ADDICTION?
The inability of
stopping yourself from using a substance despite knowing it is either psychologically
or physically harming you or engaging in a harmful behavior is known as addiction.
Addiction is not
only limited to taking drugs but also involving in a habit in a way that starts
harming you like gambling, eating etc.
DRUG ADDICTION
The inability to
stop using a harmful substance which can lead to psychological and physical harm
such as cocaine, heroin etc.
Drug addiction
is in fact a condition of being addicted to a drug and it can even lead someone
to death. But despite knowing the truth, the drug addicts are unable to stop
themselves.
IMPACT OF DRUGS ON OUR SOCIETY
Drug addiction is
becoming common in our youth. We see many teenagers who are getting addicted to
difference kinds of drugs.
Drugs make a person
useless because, it not only affects a person physically but psychologically as
well. It significantly reduces the ability of brain to understand something that
is common. Means our youth are getting destroyed due to this drug addiction.
There are hundreds of
students who are destroying their lives by involving in difference kinds of
drugs. Imagine a society where the students, who are the future of any country,
are getting involved in drug addiction, so what future such a country have?
OTHER ESSAYS
Not only boys,
it has been observed that girls are also involving in drug and getting addicted
to this poisonous substance. A society where teenagers boys and girls both are getting
involved in drug addiction, will only result in destruction, in terms of socially,
financially and economically.
Not only this,
the drug addicts are making this addiction common to other generations as well.
If, this illness of addiction, is not stopped here, it will have even bigger
consequences to our society.
