'The rib has been really disabling', Rafael Nadal
After Rafael Nadal has announced his return to Madrid after suffering a rib injury in the semi-finals of Indiana Wells, the Spaniard has updated his fans about his injury and the news is not very encouraging.
"I arrived very tight, I've trained very little. The rib has been very disabling, and I haven't been able to do practically anything," Nadal said.
"I have Roland-Garros in mind, and I'm aware that this tournament in Madrid is difficult."
Nadal has missedout the initial weeks of the European claycourt season. Now, he is hoping for a come back neat and strong inthe Madrid and Rome looking at his record-extending 14th title in Paris.
He said 'well and health to the importance of heading into the French Open.
"The important thing is to arrive in Paris well and healthy. I think that three weeks of preparation are enough to arrive well and healthy," he added further.
Rafael Nadal is the King of Clay and hardly he is compromised while play on this kind of court. Looking at his stats, he is definitely the most complete player on the red dirt with his records practically untouchable by any of the current players in the ATP circuit right now including Djokovic and Federer.

Rafael Nadal suffered a rib injury while playing against his fellow-mate tennis start Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals of the Indiana Wells. Since then, he has been away from the game and he stepped away for six weeks to regain his fitness.
Now, he has announced his comeback in the Madrid, his home tournament.
Fans were eagerly waiting for his words on his fitness and recovery from his rib injury.
Rafael Nadal is considered the GOAT of red dirt and obviously fans always want him to see winning but the now the question remains with his fitness level, will he be able to continue his performance.
