QUAID E AZAM ESSAY
Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali
Jinnah was born on 25 December 1876 in a rented apartment on the second floor
of Wazir Mansion in Karachi.
The name which was given to
Quaid e Azam at the time of his birth was Mahomedali Jinnahbhai. The name of
his father was Jinnahbhai Poonja and his mother was Mithibai.
Quaid e Azam was a
barrister by profession. A barrister as well as a politician. Quaid e Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the founder of Pakistan which came into being on 14
August 1947 with the tireless efforts of Quaid e Azam and other Muslim leaders
as well.

Quaid-e-Azam got his early
education from Sindh Madarsat ul Islam and Christian Missionary Society High School.
He completed his matriculation from Bombay University at the high school. Later
on, went to England for higher education and got admission to Lincoln’s Inn Law
School in London.
At the age of 20, Jinnah
began his practice in Bombay. By that time, he was the only Muslim barrister in
the city.
Quaid-e-Azam, joined All-Party Muslim League in 1912 and became the leader of the party in 1913 and
remained until the independence of Pakistan in 1947. Later on, he became
the first Governor-General of Pakistan until his death in 1948. He fixed
his salary as Rs. 1 per month as the Governor-General of Pakistan. While during
his career, he was offered a monthly salary of Rs. 1500 per month which
was a huge amount at that time but Jinnah refused the offer saying that he has
greater plans to earn Rs. 1500 per day.

Jinnah initially tried to gel Congress and Muslim League together but later on, realized that the Muslims of the sub-continent were not given their basic rights
and they were not allowed to live their lives according to Islam and started his
struggle for a separate country for the Muslims of sub-continent and he was
successful on 14 August 1947 in getting a separate country for them.
After getting a separate
country for the Muslims of the sub-continent, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah left
this world on 11 September 1948 at the age of 71 years. He was buried in the
heart of Karachi.
He was given the title of
Quaid e Azam (Great Leader) by Maulana Mazhar Uddin.
