ARSENAL GET EDGE IN TOP 4 RACE AS MANCHESTER UNITED LOSE 3-1: PREMIER LEAGUE
Arsenal
put a great show against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium and thrashed
Manchester United 3-1 courtesy to Nuno Tavares, Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka
who powered Arsenal to this victory and got them an edge in the top four race.
After
not playing in the match against Liverpool which Manchester lost 4-0 Ronaldo
made his comeback and scored the only goal from Manchester United which was his
22nd of the season but obviously that was not enough infront of the
Arsenal 4 goals.
Manchester
United’s hopes are over for Champions League football next season after a clean
win by Arsenal who held their nerves and won the match 3-1 for a top-four
finish in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium, admits Ralf Rangnich.
Currently
United stand on sixth spot with six points adrift of the top-four and this
could lead them to miss out European football completelty which will happen
only the second time in the history in twenty-two years since 1990.
While
Nuno Tavares, Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka, three bright stars of Arsenal who
got them three points clear of Tottenham, who will face Brentford later on
Saturday.
Ronaldo could score one goal but will
regret letting Bruno Fernandes taking a second-half penalty with the game
finely poisted at 2-1 to the Gunners.
United interim boss Rangnick was disappointed
with the performance of Manchester United and said that even before this game
it was very difficult for Manchester United to make it to top-four but after
this lose, it becomes impossible.
He exactly said, “For me even before that game it was not very likely, but after today's result the top four is gone.”
